Promotes JOY through Christian Praise and Worship music 24/7 and is local to the greater Austin area. JOY512 promotes JOY in the communities and in Church.

In coordination with Apartment Life, Apartment Prayers get teams of people to pray for their local neighborhood apartments. The prayers are for salvation and for God to make His voice known to all the residents in the greater Austin area.

203 is a group of believers who are intercessors for the Greater Austin area. The 203 group prays over the seven mountains of Business/Marketplace, Church, Education, Family, Government, Media, and Arts and Entertainment.

Learning about and practicing joyful generosity is what Generous Java is all about. Gourmet coffee is donated to local ministries and businesses along with information about how our community can become active in supporting the healing of Austin.

What We’ve Been Up to Lately

The JOY512 app – Joy512 has a new app that you can download for free. Just go to www.joy512.com/app and get your JOY512 app today. Over the last 6 months we’ve had 60k listeners on JOY512 and we keep growing. The local Worship Station is catching on with listeners in the Austin area.

Austin Awake! Ekklesia of Texas is supporting Austin Awake by advertising on Joy512 and doing social media to get prayer warriors to come together to pray for the city. We’ve had city wide prayers for the University of Texas and the City of Austin in May 2024 where intercessors prayed for UT faculty, students, administration and awakening for the campus. A week after our prayer strike with Austin Awake, there were protests on the UT campus and the UT administrators shut down the protests with the help of the State of Texas in a peaceful and effective manner. UT’s model for handling violent protests became a “model” for universities across the nation. Our prayers for students and faculty were answered.

In October 2024, Ekklesia of Texas also supported Austin Awake! In praying for the city, state and nation. Our prayers were for Justice and Righteousness in our elections and our elected officials. We saw for the most part, a peaceful and fair election and believed God worked in our election 2024. People of all churches and ethnic groups came together to pray for justice and righteousness in our city, state and nation. Intercessors prayed over Austin as the NEW media capital of the world with Elon Musk moving” X” to our city and all the hundreds of podcasters who reach tens of millions of people with their podcasts that originate from Austin. Joe Rogan, Mike Adams (Health Ranger), Lara Logan, Roseanne Barr, Alex Jones, Jamie Ivey’s Happy Hour, Del Bigtree and more. We are praying for Austin to become the Center of Truth, sending out the Truth in Jesus to the world.

Ekklesia of Texas promoted many concerts in Austin over the last several months. Supporting local and national artists worshipping and praising our Father is the city is KEY to shifting the environment in the Austin area. Tree of Life Church in New Braunfels

Joy512 supported food distribution for 1,300 families at the Tree of Life Church in New Braunfels. Tree of Life along with the New Braunfels Food Bank, Family Life Center give Thanksgiving dinners (including the turkey) to 1,300 families. While volunteers packed over 1,000 boxes they listened and worshipped to Joy512 all morning on Thursday November 21, 2024.

Follow the Star

JOY512 partnered with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cedar Follow the Star 2024, a citywide outreach to tell the Gospel of Jesus in a 10-nativity scene story. Over 300 cast members, plus donkeys, camels and other animals were seen with amazement by those who came. Everyone was welcomed to come and experience the FULL story of Jesus at Follow the Star and to bring friends, neighbors and family to celebrate Jesus. This year attendance was over 10k and JOY512 and volunteers served coffee by Generous Java www.generousjava.org and Hot Chocolate during the event. Listeners were asked to bring a donation for food or a nonperishable food item to support the Hill Country Ministries food pantry. JOY512 promoted the event through radio and social media. Generous Java gave proceeds to Hill Country Ministries food pantry. Generous Java and is a partner ministry of Ekklesia of Texas. Here is a video of Follow the Star 2024.

Generous Java began offering highly discounted wholesale coffee for churches and businesses in September. The Generous Java program helps organizations and those they serve learn about biblical generosity over a good cup of coffee. The invitation is open to take advantage of the great coffee we offer while learning how your personal and corporate generosity can be put to good use for local charities. O Holy Night

JOY512 supported the O Holy Night concert at ACL Live December 10, 2024 at 7:30pm produced by Kingdom Sounds.

Kira, a singer-songwriter known for her celebrity vocal coaching and extraordinary musical ear, was thrilled to present ‘O Holy Night’, a very special Christmas event at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. Everyone experienced a wonder-filled candlelight evening at the iconic Austin venue singing the most magical Christmas songs with friends and family, including favorites O Holy Night, Joy to the World, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Silent Night and more. An acclaimed singer-songwriter and composer brought spiritual Christmas songs to life with stories about their origins and their entire versus sung by everyone in attendance. Kira performed with a 30-piece string orchestra, including musicians from the Austin Symphony.

Joy512 supported the promotion and marketing of the show to the secular Austinite, via a 17-billboard campaign in the center of ATX, Austin Chronicle and data base marketing. All who are interested in knowing more about Jesus are invited to an Alpha follow up in downtown Austin.

Joy of Giving

Joy512 will do our first ever fundraiser this December 2024. Joy512 supports local churches, praise/worship, prayers and other ministries in the city. Our goal is to raise $84,000 for 2025. This covers all our streaming, DJs, music royalties, website, and On-site activation with worship and community events.
